Crisis Management Plan
These types of plans are typically designed to manage a response at a corporate level. This response could be the result of an emergency, natural disaster, fatality, business interruption issue, product recall, product contamination, or other business crisis.
A crisis management plan should consist of procedures to provide resources and expertise to assist in managing a tactical emergency response effort, public affairs guidelines (including shareholder and stakeholder communication protocols), and procedures to provide timely information to executive management.
Emergency action plans are required to manage tactical responses, as a result of fires, natural disasters, fatalities, or other emergencies. These plans are required for office buildings, plants, hospitals, schools, and other operations.
Facility Security Plan
Planning for security is required to satisfy a variety and ever-increasing array of regulatory requirements. In addition, developing a facility security plan is a sound business practice for all operations, even if there are no current federal requirements for your operations.
TRP offers comprehensive security assessment and planning services for all industrial and municipal sectors, including energy, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries to satisfy the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA), Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), and other requirements.
Emergency Action Plans
The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) requires written emergency action plans for potential emergencies in the workplace. This document must include evacuation procedures and escape routes, reporting procedures for fires and other emergencies, procedures for accounting for personnel after evacuation, procedures for continuing critical operations after evacuation, key emergency contacts, a description of internal alarm systems, and other key information.
A crisis management plan augments an emergency action plan by providing guidance at the corporate level to support an emergency response and communicate status to executive management, company shareholders and the public. TRP's Web-based planning system provides consistency and greatly improved efficiency in developing and maintaining these plans, especially when they are required for multiple locations or facilities. TRP's Web-based system provides an integrated database to manage redundant contacts and other information, along with other tools and functionality.
